  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Optional

  • shredded lettuce
  • pickled onions

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Season the beef
Add the ground beef to a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.

Place the beef in the air fryer basket or tray. Cook for 5 minutes, then break it apart with a spoon or spatula.

Return the beef to the air fryer and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once more if needed, until fully cooked through.
  • Build the bowls
Divide the rice into 4 bowls or meal prep containers. Top with cooked beef, cucumber, tomatoes, and avocado.
  • Serve
Add any extra toppings or sauce and serve right away, or store for later.

Notes

  • Lean ground beef works well for high-protein meal prep.
  • Break the beef apart halfway through cooking so it cooks evenly.
  • Add avocado and sauces closer to serving for the best texture.
  • You can swap rice for cauliflower rice or roasted potatoes.
  • This recipe is easy to adjust based on what toppings you have.
