Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Skewers
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 small red onion, cut into chunks

Optional

  • mushrooms
  • zucchini chunks
  • parsley
  • lemon wedges
  • garlic butter for brushing after cooking

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Season the beef
Toss the steak cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Prep the skewers
Thread the beef, peppers, and onion onto skewers, alternating ingredients.
  • Air fry the kebabs
Place the kebabs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the beef is cooked to your liking.
  • Check doneness
Use a meat thermometer if needed and cook a little longer if you want the beef more done.
  • Serve
Serve right away, with chopped parsley or a little garlic butter if desired.

Notes

  • Cut the beef and vegetables into similar sizes for even cooking.
  • Sirloin works well because it stays tender and cooks quickly.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket.
  • If your skewers are too long, use shorter skewers or cook in batches.
  • Brush with garlic butter after cooking for extra flavor.
