Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Tongs
  • Paper towels

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds salmon fillets, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Optional

  • chopped parsley
  • lemon wedges
  • hot honey drizzle
  • red pepper flakes
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Prep the salmon
Pat the salmon dry with paper towels, remove the skin if needed, and cut into even bite-sized cubes.
  • Season the salmon bites
Toss the salmon pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until evenly coated.
  • Air fry the salmon bites
Place the salmon bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, shaking gently halfway through, until the salmon is lightly golden and cooked through.
  • Serve
Serve immediately with lemon, parsley, sesame seeds, or a light drizzle of hot honey if desired.

Notes

  • Cut the salmon into even pieces so it cooks at the same rate.
  • Do not overcrowd the basket or the salmon bites may steam.
  • Salmon cooks quickly, so start checking early if the pieces are small.
  • These work especially well in rice bowls, salads, or wraps.
