Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer
    Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Season the beef
    Add the ground beef to a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently.
  • Add to the air fryer
    Place the ground beef in the air fryer basket or tray.
  • Cook and break apart
    Air fry for 5 minutes, then open the basket and break the beef apart with a spatula or spoon.
  • Continue cooking
    Return it to the air fryer and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once more if needed, until fully cooked. Ground beef should reach 160°F (71°C).
  • Serve or store
    Use right away in bowls, wraps, tacos, or meal prep containers.

Notes

  • Break the beef apart halfway through so it cooks evenly.
  • Use lean ground beef for a lighter high-protein option.
  • Add different spices depending on how you plan to serve it.
  • This works well as a meal prep base for several meals.
  • Drain excess fat if needed after cooking.
