These air fryer fish tacos are crispy, flavorful, and easy to make. A high-protein seafood dinner with flaky fish, crunchy slaw, and simple taco toppings.
1 ½poundswhite fish fillets such as cod or tilapia, cut into strips
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoonchili powder
½teaspooncumin

8small tortillas
2cupsshredded cabbage or slaw mix
¼cupchopped cilantro
1tablespoonlime juice

Instructions
Preheat the air fryerPreheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
Season the fishPat the fish dry and place it in a mixing bowl. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Air fry the fishPlace the fish in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily.
Make the slawToss the shredded cabbage with cilantro and lime juice.
Warm the tortillasWarm the tortillas briefly so they are soft and easier to fold.
Assemble the tacosFill each tortilla with slaw and air fryer fish. Add avocado, sauce, salsa, jalapenos, or cheese if desired.
ServeServe immediately with extra lime wedges if desired.
Notes
Cod and tilapia both work well for fish tacos.
Cut the fish into similar-sized strips for even cooking.
Do not overcrowd the basket or the fish may not crisp as well.
Add sauces just before serving so the tacos stay fresh.
