  • 5 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
  • Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. If needed, pound thicker pieces lightly for more even cooking.

  • Cook in batches if needed
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook in batches if your basket is small.
  • Air Fry
Cook for 16 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Rest the chicken
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Assemble meal prep containers
Slice or leave whole, then divide the chicken into 5 meal prep containers with your preferred sides.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary depending on chicken breast thickness.
  • Use a meat thermometer for the best results.
  • Let the chicken cool slightly before sealing containers.
  • Change the sides through the week to keep meals from feeling repetitive.
